Financial Peace University begins Sept. 12

News | August 8, 2016

A nine-week course focusing on getting rid of debt, managing money, and spending and saving wisely, will begin on Monday, Sept. 12, 6:30-8 p.m., at St. Paul.

Financial Peace University, created by Dave Ramsey, will be led by St. Paul members Meg and Ron Knapper and Martha Wells. The idea is to take “baby steps” toward better financial health. Those steps are: build a $1,000 emergency fund, pay off all debt starting with the smallest balance, build 3-6 months of savings, put 15 percent of your income into retirement, fully fund college for your children, pay off your house, then build wealth.

A limited number of member packs will be available for $93 at the sign up table on August 28th or may be purchased online ($93+$9.30 shipping) at a link unique to our class: http://www.daveramsey.com/fpu/classes/1021799. Anyone who has taken the course before and has their materials can take the class for free. Sign up by Sept. 11 at stpaulqc.org/signups. Childcare will be available upon request. Contact: Ryan Bailey, ryan@stpaulqc.org.

    Thanks so much!
