Growing love in the St. Paul community garden

Mission | April 2, 2016

The beginning of spring means the beginning of planting in the St. Paul community garden. Get your hands into the earth twice over the coming weeks. Children are very welcome.Garden

Saturday, April 16, 10 a.m.-12 noon: Prepare the community garden for another year of vegetable growing. We will clean the garden beds and plant some cold-tolerant plants. Bring garden tools and seeds if you’d like. The rain/cold date is Saturday, April 23.

Saturday, May 7, 10 a.m.-12 noon: Complete the planting of the garden. Help give root to tomatoes, peppers, and other warm-weather plants. The rain/cold date is Saturday, May 14.

The vegetables and herbs grown in the garden are donated to Café on Vine, the Madison Marketplace, neighbors, and St. Paul people.
