Renovations underway at St. Paul

News | March 1, 2016

A renovation of the serving area in the Library Commons is nearly complete, while an audio-visual upgrade in the Chapel is underway.

The Library Commons is a gathering space that often is the location for luncheons and other meals. The renovation includes new cupboards, countertops, an ice-making machine, a refrigerator, and new sink.

Meanwhile, an upgrade in the Chapel is underway. This is a much-used area for small worship services, presentations, and community-wide events. The new systems will allow for a significantly improved projector and sound for all events. This effort will also mean that the Chapel can be used for valuable overflow worship space on special Sundays, such as Easter.

Upcoming projects for 2016 include renovation of the Chapel steeple and the FaithTrek area on the Lower Level, new windows in the Education Wing, and additional security measures.
