DESCRIPTION:Christians gather on Ash Wednesday to  mark the beginning of the Lenten journey to \nEaster. Pastor Peter Marty preaches for these  services of Holy Communion.  On this solemn day you’ll receive\, if you’d like\, an ashen cross on the forehead reminding us of our frailty and sin. It’s an invitation to make each day a new beginning\, in which we are washed in God’s mercy and forgiveness. 7 p.m.: The evening service includes\nmusic by the Chorale\, along with a messagefor the children.
