Second Thursday evenings
St. Paul’s literature discussion group gathers for monthly conversations about faith and life on the second Thursday of each month, September through May. The discussion time is 7 p.m. in the Church House Living Room.
The engaging leaders teach English at Augustana College and are married to each other. Enriching conversations are always topped off with tempting desserts. Current selections are posted in the Book Corner.

God’s beautiful work in the world often inspires us to beautiful work as well. No matter your age or creative impulse, you’re invited to gather in the Luther Loft once a month to paint, sew, sculpt, craft a collage. This inter-generational gathering is for kids and adults, families and singles. Not one ounce of artistic skill required!

Science and religion are not competing approaches for understanding creation. We can embrace both.
Gather in the Luther Loft as people of faith and people of science to discuss how these two narratives can blossom alongside each other. A sense of reason and wonder can reveal ever more about God’s good creation.

Lynn Batcher and Jeanne Olsen lead a supportive, compassionate journey for those who have experienced loss of a loved one. Participants will explore anger, depression, fears, acceptance, and new strength with two gifted hospital chaplains. Please indicate your interest by Feb. 26 by calling the church office, 326-3547
Second Thursday of each month, 7-8 p.m.
This faith-based peer support group is for adults with a mental illness diagnosis. Scripture-based recovery principles and the community of peers will be the guide.
Anna Goodwin, who lives with a mental illness diagnosis herself, is the facilitator. She brings a background in mental health support, along with a Master of Pastoral Studies degree. She has a natural passion for supporting peers and family members, helping to end the stigma of mental illness.

First Saturday morning of each month
This gathering is open for any woman who has experienced mother-loss at any time and needs a safe place for support. Motherless Daughters can celebrate our mothers, deepen relationships, and develop a network for continuous healing. The leader brings experience with a similar group in another setting.
