People who are older, younger, and in between give shape and texture to the rich diversity of our St. Paul faith community.
Our Senior Action Office matches the gifts of St. Paul volunteers with the needs of older adult members. Contact Mary Gordon, 355-8676
Illness or age sidelines many of our members from worship. In-Home Communion wraps them warmly into congregational life. Carrying along special communion kits, volunteers visit our homebound members in care facilities and private homes on the first Sundays of February, May, August, and November.

St. Paul sponsors a radio program each Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. on WOC Radio, 1420AM. This outreach blesses many of our older and homebound members.
Each Sunday morning, van rides are provided for the 9:20 a.m. worship service. If you need a ride, call the church office by Friday afternoon:

Once a month, St. Paul people host communion and fellowship at the Good Samaritan Center. Some 30 residents of different faith traditions hear God’s Word of hope.
Senior adults gather on the first Friday evening of each month, generally at 7 p.m. in Fellowship Hall, for “TGIF” fun and learning. Contact Paul and Joyce Bohnsack, [email protected], 355-7814.
Luther Manor, Inc., provides affordable housing for low-income senior adults in Davenport and Bettendorf. In the 1980’s, St. Paul congregation was instrumental in launching these apartment complexes.
Five facilities now serve senior adults in our community who meet the criteria. Apartments are available, with rent based on income:
