Pastor Marty leads the staff and congregation into life as God’s faithful people. From the pulpit or with the well-turned written phrase, he focuses his energies on spiritual leadership and the dynamic nature of St. Paul’s mission.
You can listen to Pastor Marty as the host of Grace Matters, the radio ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. In this role, his message is heard by a million listeners across the country and around the world.
Pastor Marty has served congregations in Kansas City, Minneapolis, and Chicago, and spent two years in construction mission work in Cameroon, Africa. Peter and his wife Susan, who works in Junior Achievement’s Exchange City, are the parents of Jacob, a student at Colby College in Maine, and Rachel, a high school student.

The vitality and care of senior adults form the primary focus for Pastor Ron Huber. He leads a weekly Thursday-morning Bible study, is engaged in a range of pastoral ministry, and connects with community outreach.
A man who likes to roll up his sleeves, he also works with Camp Shalom, church property oversight, and financial management.
Pastor Ron and his wife Karen, an aide in the Davenport Schools, have a love for the Northwoods of Minnesota. They are the parents of three adult children.

Pronounce his name poke. One of our three pastoral residents, Pastor Matthew Poock originally hails from Waverly, Iowa attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and graduated from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Ann Rosendale, one of St. Paul’s pastoral residents, is engaged in the full range of pastoral ministry for all ages, with a special interest in youth and families. In her first of two years with us, she serves her internship year before ordination.
Ann is a Spring 2008 graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, N.J. Her undergraduate degree in philosophy and religion came from Augustana College, Sioux Falls, SD.

Heather Spears, a graduate of Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, is engaged in all dimensions of pastoral life.
Heather grew up in Spicer, Minnesota, and earned her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. Heather’s love of the outdoors has drawn her to serve at Holden Village in Chelan, Washington, and to work in Minnesota lake country.
