Annual Meeting | Feb. 5, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
A vibrant photo retrospective of 2011 and insightful comments about the “state of the congregation” jump-starts the Annual Meeting. Members of St. Paul will approve a 2012 Daily Ministry Budget, consider properties of interest to the congregation, take a second vote on an update to our constitution and bylaws, and elect leaders.
No Sunday learning. Children will be cared for in classrooms and nursery.
Nova Singers Concert | Feb. 12, 4 p.m.
Enjoy music from this regional vocal ensemble, accompanied by the Moline High School Choir.
Ash Wednesday | Feb. 22
Christians gather on Ash Wednesday to mark the beginning of the Lenten journey to Easter. These services of Holy Communion will be at 12 noon & 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Lenten Wednesdays | Feb. 29 — Mar. 28
The St. Paul community of faith gathers for worship services and meal fellowship on five Lenten Wednesdays.
- Worship 12 noon & 7 p.m.
- Small groups: 5:30-6:15 p.m.
- Supper: 5:45-6:45 p.m.
Augustana Choir | Mar. 9
Gather for the Augustana Choir, in concert Friday, Mar. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Palm/Passion Sunday | Apr. 1
Sunday services at 8:00, 9:20, & 11:45 a.m.
With festive palm branches waving, the mood turns somber as we realize that Jesus rides on to die.
Maundy Thursday | Apr. 5
Services at 12 noon & 7 p.m.
In scripture, liturgy, and song, we mark Jesus’ last meal with his disciples.
Good Friday | Apr. 6
Services at 12 noon, 4:30, & 8 p.m.
The church gathers to remember the suffering and death of Jesus. Worship includes a midday mediation in the Chapel, a late-afternoon Family Service, and the Tenebrae Service in the late hours of darkness.
Easter Sunday | Apr. 8
Services at 6:00, 8:00, 9:30, & 11:15 a.m.
No Saturday worship
With shouts of alleluia, rumbling timpani, and triumphant trumpets, we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.
Wartburg College Choir | Apr. 28, 7:30 p.m.
Following a Saturday evening concert, the choir will bring their voices to worship on Sunday, Apr. 29, during the 8 & 9:20 a.m. services.
Rite of Confirmation | May 5
Eighth-graders affirm their growing faith during Saturday 5:30 worship.
Baccalaureate | May 6
With prayers for God’s blessings, we honor our graduating seniors during 9:20 a.m. worship.
Mayfest | May 20
Fold out your lawn chair for worship on the front lawn at 11 a.m. Then join in the annual lawn party. Food. Music. People. Grace. Sweet!

Jazz Sunday | July 29
Jazz joy takes over St. Paul this Sunday. We welcome back our enormously talented jazz friends from Chicago for worship at 9:20 & 11 a.m. It’s some of the best jazz in town!
