Financial Assistance
St. Paul Lutheran Church of Davenport has established a small Financial Assistance program designed to help individuals with needs in a caring and orderly manner.
Eligibility: An individual may receive financial assistance through St. Paul once every TWO years. The appropriate information and/or documentation is required in order to be eligible for this assistance, which will be paid directly to the landlord, utility company, etc. This assistance is intended to be preventative in nature. Therefore, to be eligible, it must be confirmed that eviction, utility shutoffs, etc. will not occur this month, should this financial assistance be received. Due to the large number of requests each month, filling out this form doesn’t guarantee you’ll receive financial assistance that month. If you don’t get a phone call by the Monday after the form closes (dates listed below), please submit the form again for the next month.
Rights:
- You have the right to be informed of and ask questions about the services being provided.
- You also have the right to confidentiality. Information about you will be kept confidential by the church staff assisting you with this service. You will be asked to sign an authorization for church staff to speak to your landlord, utility company, etc. on your behalf.
- You have a right to receive a copy of these policies and informed consent.
Applicants must have:
- A valid driver’s license
- A current lease/rental agreement
Please note: This form is available online the second week of each month from 8 a.m. on Monday through 5 p.m. on Friday. If you have been selected to receive rental assistance, you will be contacted on the following Monday by 9 a.m.

Oct. 14-18, Selection date: Oct. 19
Nov. 9-15, Selection date: Nov. 16
Dec. 14-20, Selection date: Dec. 21
