On the evening of Sunday, May 28, the unimaginable happened in downtown Davenport. The historic Davenport Hotel, home to businesses and apartments, collapsed, leaving many without homes and the loss of their belongings.

Anyone wishing to make donations to assist those who have been impacted by the building collapse, please consider donating to CASI and the Salvation Army.As the rescue efforts downtown turn toward recovery, CASI continues to work with the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, and supportive services to those impacted by this tragedy while the Salvation Army is working to help with clothing vouchers, food, information, personal items, and more.
