The Golden Rule is a principle that finds expression in more than a dozen different religious traditions around the world. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is the traditional form in Protestant Christianity; it echoes similar sentiments in many varying forms. Does it really work? Is it practical? Does it have limits? Are there good alternatives? Come share a pint or a glass and a bite to eat as we consider one of the most famous Christian and humanitarian ethical norms.
